We have been very busy this week in 5th grade! On Monday and Thursday, we explored Scientific Method by performing an egg experiment. Our goal was to see if an egg would fit into a pop bottle without touching it. You will have to ask your fifth grader what we obtained for our outcome and conclusion. It was very EXCITING!!
During Math this week, we reviewed place value and worked on our problem solving skills. Our whole class became Math Detectives as we learned how to break down story problems and extract clues to help us solve problems. We also took an addition and subtraction timed test. Mr. D showed us some of his brain power!
If you have flashcards at home, PLEASE work on them with your child on a daily basis!
